This project carefully ties a large modern addition into a heritage cottage. It sits on a narrow spit of land that’s bounded by lake Ontario on one side and the Burlington Skyway on the other. The house is centered on a large interior garden that ties all of the interior and exterior spaces together, and has an upside down plan that allows for big views of the lake from the kitchen, living and dining rooms upstairs.
